Two week road trip with three kids-- are we crazy?

When we got married, we took a 7,000 mile road trip across the country from Florida to DC to the West Coast. A low budget honeymoon, we spent the time crashing at friends and family and camping along the way. Christmas in Yosemite, climbing in Joshua Tree. We always figured that a couple that can survive that trip was destined to be together for a very long time. 16 years later, we are jumping into the fray once more. The van is packed, the kids are in bed and we are decompressing from the frantic packing in the last three days. Five people eat a lot of food.
